Different Routes to Receive Your Teacher Certification in Michigan

Traditional Route: Taking the traditional route means you will attend an approved Michigan EPP, which is usually a college or university that offers Education as an undergraduate or post-baccalaureate major. The expedited route allows you to complete the education program quicker than the traditional route. Most colleges and universities offer expedited programs. Many expedited programs are residencies, designed for individuals who are interested in being employed as full-time teachers while concurrently working toward certification.
