To Be Eligible for a Refund, the Test-Taker Must:
- Earn 90% on any one of the three “Practice Test” attempts in the study guide. This must be achieved prior to taking the exam. The exam title on the test taken must be the exact match to the 240 Tutoring Study Guide used for preparation.
- Take the exam within 30 days of the end of the 240 Tutoring study guide subscription. If the user’s subscription ends on January 1, then the test must be taken within 30 days of January 1 to be eligible for a refund.
- Provide a copy of the official score report to 240 Tutoring. This score report must be free of tampering, and both first and last names must match the name on the 240 Tutoring account. Score reports can be emailed to helpdesk@240tutoring.com. 240 Tutoring reserves the right to request a paper copy of the score report for verification.
- Request a refund within three months of the failed exam attempt.
Once the guarantee refund is given, 240 Tutoring will remove the study guide, user progress and reports from the user’s account.

The 240 Tutoring Guarantee is a money-back promise that if you score 90% or higher on a practice test in your 240 Tutoring study guide but still fail your official teacher certification exam, you are eligible for a refund of up to two months of your subscription cost. To qualify for a refund under the 240 Tutoring Guarantee, you must meet four conditions: earn a 90% or higher on one of the three practice test attempts included in your study guide before taking the official exam; take your official exam within 30 days of your 240 Tutoring subscription ending; submit an official, unaltered score report to helpdesk@240tutoring.com with a name that matches your 240 Tutoring account; and request your refund within three months of the failed exam attempt. If all conditions are met, 240 Tutoring will issue a refund of up to two months of your subscription.

The 240 Tutoring Guarantee applies to any exam for which 240 Tutoring offers a study guide, provided the exam title on your official score report exactly matches the title of the 240 Tutoring study guide you used for preparation. 240 Tutoring offers study guides for major teacher certification exam series, including Praxis, TExES, FTCE, GACE, ILTS, MTEL, MTLE, MTTC, NES, NYSTCE, OAE, AEPA, CBEST, CSET, ORELA, VCLA, WEST, and others.
You must request your refund within three months of the date of your failed exam attempt. Additionally, your official exam must have been taken within 30 days of your 240 Tutoring subscription end date. Requests submitted outside either of these windows will not be eligible for a refund under the guarantee.
Once a guarantee refund is issued, 240 Tutoring will remove the corresponding study guide, your study progress, and your reports from your account. If you want to continue preparing for your exam or retake it, you would need to start a new subscription.

The score report must be free of any alterations, and the first and last name on the report must match the name on your 240 Tutoring account. 240 Tutoring reserves the right to request a paper copy of the score report for verification purposes. Your refund request must be submitted within three months of your failed exam attempt.
The guarantee is applied per study guide subscription. If you are studying for multiple different exams, each study guide subscription is evaluated separately against the eligibility requirements. However, once a refund is issued for a specific study guide, that guide and your associated progress are removed from your account.
