You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for breaks is considered part of the available testing time.
How long will the GACE Middle Grades Language Arts (4–8) (706) exam take me?
The full test takes 2 hours 30 minutes, but expect to be at the testing site longer. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment time to get checked in. You’ll also have 15 minute for tutorials and signing the nondisclosure agreement.
If you take all 4 testlets at once the time breakdown will be as followed:
- 108 Reading and Analysis of Texts (4–8): 60 minutes
