How many questions are on the GACE?

Each GACE exam is made up of either selected-response questions, constructed-response questions, or a combination of the two types of questions.

The number of questions varies depending on the exam. Most Combined Content Assessments and Program Admissions Assessments have approximately 150 to 160 questions. Single content assessments and the Paraprofessional exam have approximately 80 to 90 questions.

What kinds of questions are on the GACE?

It is important to understand the kinds of questions you’ll be asked on the GACE exam.

Most exams will include selected-response questions, which are multiple-choice questions.
